The workshop was held by Avant’s resident lighting guru, Clark Severson. The studio is just a few blocks from the University where students learned crucial lighting techniques.

The workshop began with a sitdown for the students to see lighting principles in action. Then students worked in three different areas to compare lighting for film versus lighting for High Definition.

Vanguard’s Communication majors who are taking Public Relations began the course by attending Orange County’s Style Week this week. Through this experience, they were able to see first-hand many of the responsibilities involved in PR and how to handle them well.
