If a student is more comfortable on a specific platform, we recommend choosing that platform. As a school, we use both. In our last survey, most students preferred working on their projects on a Mac.

We recommend students buy Photoshop software to begin their coursework (even Elements is ok). If they decide to partake in media classes, we suggest buying the full Final Cut Studio, not Express because many of their projects cannot be opened on our full systems.

It’s Victoria, class of ‘07! I work in the Youth Media Department at my church and we are looking for a intern with/without experience. The internship will consist of multi-camera production (we will train), and editing spots if you want (need your own editing system, need to know how to edit).
