Summer Session Courses Are Here!

Three Cinema / Digital Media courses will be unveiled in their first summer offering at Vanguard University. The last three weeks of May, from May 11-May 29, the following courses will be offered to all students, alumni and members of the community:

Comm 273: Visual Technology (3 units) ::: Learn design theory in all aspects of media (print, screen, web) through hands-on application. Get your hands dirty with Photoshop and learn how to design an image to grab audience attention.

Comm 470: Basic Editing with Final Cut Pro (3 units) ::: Ever wanted to learn how to edit together video, the right way? In this great course, you will learn Final Cut and also how to utilize other applications, like Vimeo and Youtube to publish your work right away.

Comm 470: HD Workflow (3 units) ::: Been working with video, but HD makes your head spin? Get to know HD by getting your hands on cameras and understanding the process from pre-production to wrap

Most courses like these are only 3 days and cost around $1500. These courses have online work to help you understand key concepts and two days a week in class for multiple hands-on opportunities for $300 a unit!
